GGW Staffing is Hiring a Prep Cook Near Santa Rosa, CA
GGW is hosting a job fair for Prep Cooks in Santa Rosa!
These are full-time positions with room to grow within the company.
We are currently hiring for two shifts, 12:30pm - 9:00pm or 3:00am - 12:30pm. Potential overtime is offered as well.
Responsibilities:
- Use industrial mixers and machines to produce large loads of doughs, sauces and other products
- Prep ingredients by weight in terms of pounds, grams and ounces
- Cut vegetables by hand or with a machine
- Load ingredients into the mixers and processors, sometimes weighing up to 25 pounds
- Work directly with a team and with head chef to ensure the highest quality work
- Fill out basic reports based on progress
- Gather ingredients needed if needing a replenishment
- Briefly work in a cooled environment
Experience:
- 6 months experience working around food products
- No education background required
- Previous or current Servsafe certification is a plus
