Role Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner I plays a critical role in delivering top talent to the organization. The Talent Acquisition Partner I is responsible for professional and strategic talent management duties in recruitment. Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Manager/Team Leader, the Talent Acquisition Partner I will partner with other members of the Human Resources team to accomplish goals and serve our potential and current team members.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Build and implement a hiring strategy that emphasizes quality of hires and supports our culture and our strategic initiatives.
  2. Partner with team leaders to identify hiring needs and ensure that our hiring practices are supportive of our business needs and growth.
  3. Consult and advise hiring team leaders on the hiring process, job posting creation, and effective candidate assessment/interview techniques, offers, etc.
  4. Post job openings to a variety of sources and assist in the advertisement process to fill open positions effectively and efficiently.
  5. Screen, interview, and recommend talent to fill entry level, professional, and technical job openings.
  6. Research and recommend new sources for candidate recruiting.
  7. Attend and participate in college/community job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  8. Collaborate with the team leader and/or other human resources staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  9. Perform pre-employment screening, prepare offer packages, and proactively advise applicants of their status in the process.
  10. Create positive and engaging applicant experiences through the interview and hiring process.
  11. Maintain applicant tracking system and communicate updates to hiring team leaders in a timely manner.
  12. Ensure that all applicant data is tracked and maintained as required by Affirmative Action plan.
  13. Follow all Affirmative Action processes as identified in Affirmative Action plan and work with other members of Human Resources to provide accurate information and documentation.
  14. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as credit union policies.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing. Excellent listening skills and customer service attributes.
  2. Strong organizational skills: ability to build/set schedules and adhere to project timelines. Must successfully multi-task.
  3. Proven track record of strong personal ownership and sharp focus on quality of work.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with others.
  5. Proven skill in establishing rapport and gaining the trust of others.
  6. Skilled in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
  7. Proficient in computer applications, reporting, and file/data systems.
  8. Must have thorough knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

Qualifications


Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  2. One to three years of experience in Human Resources (specifically Recruiting).
  3. At least one year of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System.
  6. Independent travel required to perform job functions and attend professional seminars/classes as approved by team leader.
  7. Human Resources/general recruiting certification a plus.
