Who you are:
As a Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing the architecture of the Geotab ecosystem, including customers, entities, software platforms, and physical touchpoints. You must be a strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization. You should have a passion for product design, a strong understanding of user experience as you will be the go-to person for design structure and decision-making. You will work closely with senior executives and coordinate across multiple teams to achieve a common goal. You will act as the main technical leader in the department and lead projects and initiatives, but not directly managing people.
What you'll do:
The Lead Product Designer will contribute to the product roadmap, lead design efforts, coach other designers, and facilitate product and design conversations with senior leadership. You will also lead conversations with internal and external stakeholders, providing recommendations and insights, and connecting insights from different areas. To be effective in this role, you must understand the foundational principles of design and think systematically about the impact of your work. This is an opportunity for you to build and architect a complex system.
