We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and dedicated professional to join our team of hospice social workers. The social worker must be patient and considerate, and will be working directly with patients suffering from terminal illnesses. We're looking for a professional who enjoys working with patients in the end stages of life, and who can navigate difficult family dynamics. The successful candidate must enjoy educating patients about hospice care, assisting patients in completing advance directives and helping families in making important end-of-life decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide information and support to patients and loved ones who are facing end-of-life issues.
• Work directly with patients and their families to help them cope with situations that involve death.
• Develop resources and provide crisis intervention services to patients and their families after discharge from the hospital.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
