GTA's office in Laurel, Maryland is currently seeking staff to project-level Geotechnical Engineers (1-8 years of experience). Entry level candidates should have experience in field work related to construction materials observation and testing. More experienced candidates will help manage our more complicated projects and have experience in proposal preparation, geotechnical explorations, report preparation, drafting, and geotechnical analyses.
Other responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Candidates should be prepared for professional growth into such areas as retaining wall design, slope stability analysis, temporary/permanent excavation support design, review of subsurface conditions and foundation design, project management, training of junior staff, and business development at external events. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced engineering and business leaders, perform work on wide variety of projects, and develop advanced technical and business skills.
