Genz Ryan is looking to add an experienced, Automotive Technician to the Genz Ryan family! The Automotive Technician will manage 100 fleet and assist to work on general automotive/mechanical components such as transmissions, engines, and anything with a small engine, all while practicing the company CORE values: PRIDE, DRIVE, TEAM PLAYER, RESPECT, GET SH!T DONE! 

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN DUTIES: (ILLUSTRATIVE, NOT INCLUSIVE):

• Directly perform vehicle maintenance needs including but not limited to:
  • Utilize excellent organizational skills and consistently clean and organize the shop to be in immaculate condition at all times
  • Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, giving tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
  • Utilize and adhere to your calendar
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly
  • Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts
  • Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective
  • Thoroughly explain the automotive problems and repairs conducted to GR employees 
  • Perform daily tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policies
  • Document daily metrics in company system
• Fleet Maintenance duties including but not limited to:
  • Consistent communication with automotive shop vendors
  • Set up calendar schedule for services
  • Stay up to date on fleet allocations within departments
  • Track and report the following:
    • Consumable spend
    • Maintenance spend
    • Licensing
    • Insurance
  • Update records for vehicle status changes
  • Perform vehicle inspections
• Work to drive efficiencies with proactive effort to reduce company costs
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and various tools and equipment when needed, as backup to warehouse and building maintenance staff
• Identify areas for process improvements
• Perform daily tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company policies
• Management and documentation of daily metric success 
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

**Work Schedule is Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm. Must be willing and able to take infrequent calls/texts outside of typical work schedule.**

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver's License*** REQUIRED
• Current DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain (company paid)
• At least 1 years working in an automotive technician/mechanic position
• An individual possessing a friendly personality with the ability to GSD! (GET SH!T DONE!)
• Basic computer skills
• Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team. 
• Ability to work in an evolving environment and embracing change
