Technical Project Manager:

We are seeking a technical project manager with an interest in building the next generation of gaming and streaming entertainment. As part of the Genvid team, you’ll be involved in integrating games on desktop and mobile that work hand-in-hand with the Genvid stack. This position will be 100% remote; however, due to the tax status of Genvid, we are only able to hire remote employees who currently reside in the following locations: California, Washington, Texas, New York, or British Columbia.

Some of the responsibilities you’ll find in this position as a member of a MILE team:

  • You’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams to make sure all parties are aligned on technical & business goals, and are on track with project requirements & timelines.
  • You’ll be intimately familiar with the product vision, submitting and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • You’ll participate in discussions with partner teams on the delivery process to improve and iterate on processes and best practices.
  • You’ll implement effective project communication plans and ensure their executions, which includes healthy communication pipelines, status reporting, and Stakeholder management.
  • You’ll work with others to identify risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize exposure.
  • You’ll facilitate change management to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedules and budgets.
  • You’ll champion the user experience of the product that the delivery team implements to ensure acceptance criteria is met, and future improvements are identified.
  • You’ll support the team in sussing out and resolving conflicts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5 total years experience in project management (Project Management Professional Certification is plus).
  • 3 years working on software development teams.
  • Experience in the gaming, multimedia, and/or web services industry.
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCE.
  • Experience with Atlassian and G-Suite tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience negotiating trade-offs with and between delivery teams and/or stakeholders.
  • Systems-based thinking, with a willingness to invest time to understand root cause analysis.
