Director of Project Management:

The Director of Project Management is responsible to help coordinate the different projects within the development, platform and services teams. This role will be working with leadership, they will help shape, define and refine the vision of our services, methods and solutions, and establish an agile roadmap with the contribution of all stakeholders. The Director of Project Management will continuously supervise the good usage of our services and the success of our projects, ensuring their accuracy coherence in and support of our strategy and current and future needs of our clients and partners. The Director of Project Management will also manage a group of technical project managers across the different teams, including the support of the team’s their hiring, onboarding, performance and growth in the company. The Director of Project Management will support them in their tasks, and help them identify and resolve any impediments to their success.

The responsibilities of the Director of Project Management are listed below but not limited:

• Supervise and encourage excellence in project management, according to the values and strategies of Genvid.
• Hire, lead and coach the technical project manager group, helping them understand our vision, values and practices.
• Define and facilitate the adoption of our project management practices to help the teams reach their goals and keep the high quality standards required for our success.
• Establish a culture of empirical approach to project management, with goals that are aligned with the strategies of Genvid.
• Establish staff performance expectations and provide regular feedback both informal and scheduled reviews.
• Work closely with other technology teams to improve process and technology watch pertinent to the industry, practices and domain of Genvid.
• Manage and provide visibility to all stakeholders of the company on the product roadmap.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required relevant computer science and or technical or analytic field preferred
• 7 years experience as a Project, Product or Program Manager or related in a software product development environment 
• 5 years as a project, program or program manager in a related field (video game, multimedia, web services). 
• Experience with managing project development in collaboration with other development groups
• Great capacity to communicate complex problems either technical or managerial
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and good capacity of adaptation
• Strong capacity to learn from different domains and applying those insights to new problems
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a strong curiosity to understand the whys
