Genuine Cable Group is currently seeking an energetic Part-Time Warehouse Receiving Associate for our Warehouse facility in Schaumburg, IL. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn and grow with a rapidly expanding company, this position is a fantastic way to get your foot in the door with a leading distributor of industrial automation and connectivity solutions.

In this role, you would be responsible for handling receiving duties, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring accurate deliveries. We believe everyone deserves a chance; we welcome warehouse experience but are happy to train motivated individuals looking to enter this field or learn a new skill.

We recognize that providing excellent service to our customers begins with our warehouse teams; we pride ourselves on providing a safe, clean environment and a stable schedule. Hours for this position are flexible, we are offering two shifts: 8:00am-12:00pm M-F and 1:00pm-5:00pm M-F. We offer a starting pay rate of $19-21/hr based on experience, with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

What you’ll do

• Review and manage cycle counts, location management, and receiving
• Effectively receive shipments and review purchase orders to ensure accurate deliveries
• Managing inventory and monitoring for discrepancies
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
• Perform additional duties as needed

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous forklift/warehouse experience a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
