Gensler is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Seattle, WA
Your Role Gensler is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing teams in Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver. A Marketing Coordinator is the key producer of materials that support Gensler’s direct business development efforts. With the support of their marketing team, they work under the direction of senior staff and marketing specialists to write, design, and produce proposals, presentations and other material used to help the firm tell great stories and win work. This role will sit in the Seattle office but will support the marketing teams in our three northern offices – Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver – with general marketing activities. Marketing at Gensler is a communications-based discipline. We are not looking for digital marketers, SEO experts, or anyone focused on sales. We create quals, proposals, presentations, and other deliverables daily, both print documents and electronic ones across multiple platforms. We look for a very high level of skill with InDesign, a good graphic eye, a love of the industry, a talent for telling stories about it, and an outstanding ability to partner with our principals and studio directors in your assigned business sector. What You Will Do Work with Principals, senior staff, and the marketing team to produce proposals and presentations; research, design, write, and produce all materials in alignment with Gensler brand standards. Manage scheduling, production, and delivery of marketing materials. Actively participate in strategy/planning sessions. Develop new materials as needed to support business development activities. Manage multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines. Quickly learn and understand Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and broad firm capabilities. Maintain resources & information systems such as updating project documentation, resume updating, and database upkeep. Other responsibilities as assigned. Your Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional experience preferably for a design or professional services firm. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with grammatical accuracy. Strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator. Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and diverse project teams in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to provide thought leadership and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must. Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) is a must.
