Your Role Our Aviation team is seeking an Architect that will collaborate with a studio of colleagues to develop innovative and beautiful design solutions to meet our clients’ needs. This role will coordinate design through the construction administration phase. You will be successful because you already know how to translate sketches and documents into realized 3D models and working drawings and can research technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and all authorities having jurisdiction Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges Maintain project manual and specifications Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction Your Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and experience in a commercial design firm 5 years of project experience in an architectural or engineering practice delivering large projects Experience designing and delivering aviation / airport projects is preferred (interior architecture, base building, ground up, renovations, and additions) Licensed / Registered Architect Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office LEED accreditation preferred *This role is not remote; we look forward to working with our new team member in either Tampa, Washington, D.C., or Pittsburgh.
