GENEVA WORLDWIDE is Hiring a Remote REMOTE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

OVERVIEW

The focus of this role will be to oversee all aspects relating to private sector sales revenue, including National/ Multinational Corporate sales opportunities. The Business Development Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales & will be responsible for all master service agreements, contract implementations/ management, client management/ interface, as well as handling escalations from the Operations department. This is a wide-reaching role and has direct involvement with all areas of the company.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and lead business development activities to generate new revenue
  • Understand the capability, benefits, and competitive advantages of Geneva's services by identifying new business through research
  • Promote and educate clients regarding Geneva's full suite of services
  • Continual research and education on the industry, competitors, and research into what verticals should be targeted for marketing/ sales campaigns
  • Appropriately manage client expectations in conjunction with the Coordination & Project Management Team
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures and resource cost models
  • In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities
  • Work in collaboration with the Operations team to ensure appropriate transfer of information between the client & Coordinators or Project Managers
  • Implement and manage all areas relating to private client contracts, order forms, and new RFPs
  • Build on existing, and develop new, client relationships
  • Handle escalations issues as brought forth by Operations teams and clients
  • Create campaigns for social media marketing, implement strategic google ads ideas & placement to generate leads
  • Attend targeted conferences for new business development (virtual/live)

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years of sales experience specifically in the Language Services Industry
  • Experience in consultative sales with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to industry firms and corporations.
  • Proven sales life cycle experience - lead generation through business closing
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Management and experience in building sales teams a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $75,000 - $80,000 per year
  • Lucrative commission and bonus structure
