In a defined geographic territory, the Financial Operations Manager provides financial analysis, planning, and support to nursing centers within the market.

Position Highlights
*Reports to Market President
*Research industry best practices to strengthen the nursing centers' financial process through proactive collaboration with nursing home administrators and the market President
*Leverage knowledge and experience to enhance and innovate nursing center financial analysis to position the market for a deep financial understanding and excellent financial outcomes
*Review labor expense for nursing centers within the market to ensure they meet targets based on the centers' needs
*Create operational budgets based on historical trends and information provided by nursing home administrators and the market President.
*Educate nursing center leaders on financial results so as to drive budget achievement and to ensure a full understanding of the use of financial tools and processes to develop, implement and monitor action plans.
*Maintain expert knowledge of skilled nursing center practice standards in Financial Analysis and KPI development to deliver comprehensive recommendations and individualized support
*Automate, prepare, and maintain various monthly financial reports and ensure they are impactful to the recipients of them.
*Monitor governmental changes, both federal and state, that affect the calculation methodology for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement rates.
