The impact you'll have at Genesis:

Genesis Financial Solutions is looking for an onsite Facilities Coordinator that is proactive, detail-oriented, provides excellent customer service, and takes pride in creating a safe and tidy office space. This individual will provide general office support with a focus on facility and employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

As our Facilities Coordinator you will:

  • Greet and direct visitors who are on-site. Professionally answer and direct all incoming calls.
  • Be responsible for our company badging system.
  • Provide support to executive team members as needed for office supplies and assisting with on-site meetings.
  • Coordinate and resolve facilities related requests for general maintenance and office improvements.
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, and scheduling vendors for company events.
  • Maintain inventory, orders, and distribute all commonly used office and janitorial supplies.
  • Partner with HR leadership and Property Management to schedule repairs.
  • Maintain our office-seating chart and assist with new hire desk set ups.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience required.
  • One or more years in an administrative support role in a professional environment.
  • Intermediate level MS Office Skills; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and determine work using independent judgement without direct supervision on a daily basis.
  • Must be reliable, proactive, and exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • High level of accuracy and detail orientation needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Functions:

The incumbent must meet work deadlines, have regular attendance, good oral and written communication skills, provide timely and accurate work product, have good interpersonal skills, ability to work with a team, ability to multi-task, use a PC and a computer terminal, and the specialized telephone system. Position requires access to all areas of the office, and the ability to sit and/or walk for extended periods of time, periodically bending and twisting, and frequent application of a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
