Generations at Neighbors in Byron, Illinois has an Immediate opening for a Experienced Part Time Cook.
The Schedule is 11am - 7:30 pm, Every Other Weekend, with a $19.00 per hour pay rate.

Responsibilities of the Part Time Cook:
• Prepare food in a timely manner in accordance to dietary requirements
• Follow standardized recipes in food preparation
• Inspect special dietary trays to assure they are correct
• Serve food on the tray line
• Assist in receiving and check in of deliveries of food and supplies
• Follow work/cleaning schedules
Requirements
of the Part Time Cook:
• Current Food Sanitation certification from the State of Illinois
• Must be able to interpret Resident Diet Card
• Must be capable of following written and oral instructions concerning dietary methods and the preparation of foods and liquids
• Must be familiar with seasonings, cooking times and sanitation requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults and their families
