Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL, has an Opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing – ADON. This is a Full Time Role with a Salary Starting at $90K, Depending upon Qualifications. The Ideal Candidate Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON (Clinical Services Supervisor):

• The Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing – DON (Director of Clinical Services)
• Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
• Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff
• Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods

Requirements

Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
• Long-term care experience with knowledge of regulations desirable
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate or long-term care facility preferred
• ICU or ventilator experience a plus
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
