Generali Global Assistance is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Pembroke Pines, FL

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst is accountable for providing financial analysis and reporting for the company. This position will perform complex analysis on cash forecasting and will handle all necessary activity to support business operations and corporate activities. This person presents, interprets, and discusses assumptions for the financial analysis, treasury budget, and forecast with various levels of management. Additional responsibility will be to develop and manage operational Guidelines and every request from Group head office or Business Departments and handle all intercompany transactions and financial calculations (Loans and cash pooling structure).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assists in the preparation of the company’s annual budget

Analysis

  • Performs variance analyses between budgeted and actual results and reviews analyses with stakeholders
  • Analyzes monthly financial results and work with department leads to understand key drivers, forward-looking trends, and decision points
  • Assists in the management and monitoring of expenditures associated with company contracts

Modeling

  • Develops models and methodologies that predict, quantify, and forecast various business metrics
  • Designs, develops, and implements performance metrics and tracking processes to measure the effectiveness of the predictive modeling efforts
  • Implements model results in ongoing business processes

Reporting

  • Provides specific financial reporting to executives and department leads
  • Assists with reporting for regional and corporate
  • Manages the Finance metrics dashboard/key performance indicators

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

  • A minimum of three years of related financial experience required
  • Experience with enterprise software applications, with preference for SAP experience
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel including experience with complex modeling

Education/Certifications:

  • A four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
  • Master of Business Administration preferred

Physical Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit for long periods of time; use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; finger dexterity; talk; hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
