Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for assisting the full life-cycle recruiting process including; partnering with managers to identify hiring needs, posting jobs through appropriate job boards, utilizing social and professional networking sites to find qualified candidates, making necessary changes in HRIS Platform to enhance the Recruiting workflow and assists with the New Hire and Onboarding process.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the functions listed below)

  • Collaborates with leadership and hiring managers to identify current and future employment needs, as well as location specific talent management goals.
  • Sources candidates through employment platforms
  • Utilize the internet for recruitment; post open positions, improve recruiting experience, utilize social media and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates, and grow General Part's employment brand.
  • Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experiences, and knowledge in relation to position requirements and inputs into HRIS Platform.
  • Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates, including scheduling all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assists with performing phone screens as needed.
  • Generates Offer Letters in HRIS system to send to candidates.
  • Helps manage the background screening process with HR.
  • Assists in the coordination of the onboarding plan; makes suggestions for onboarding training. Reviews all documents after completion for compliance with HR processes.
  • Creates job descriptions; makes enhancements to existing job descriptions
  • Helps manage Recruiting pipeline in HRIS Platform.
  • Learns recruiting process.
  • Helps where needed within Recruiting.
  • Special projects/other tasks as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

  • Non-supervisory position.
  • Reports to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Makes decisions that affect other people, the financial resources, and/or the image and reputation of the organization.
