Overview

To operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner by performing the following duties:

Major Position Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production needs.
• Loading and unloading the machines to which you are assigned.
• Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.
• Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job.
• Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.
• Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
• Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have the ability to perform the task at hand in a consistent fashion
• Competent in using basic measuring devices and able to learn how to use more complicated measuring tools
• Ability to comprehend the quality management system and material segregation
• Ability to learn new workplace skills
• Committed to producing quality and conforming product
• Comprehension of basic mathematics applicable to manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Safety conscious behavior
• Keep the work station and facility in a neat and orderly manner
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Training is provided however previous manufacturing experience is a plus. 
• Must be able to work 3rd Shift - 11pm-7:30am
