Washington, D.C. – Department 488 is a programmatic and engineering services organization that liaisons with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Submarine Directorate Program Managers and engineering engaged in the support of Undersea Warfare enterprise operations. The Logistics Analyst will work with the Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) and other System Commands located within the Washington Navy Yard to identify resource requirements, resolve emergent Fleet support issues, support the approval of technical instructions, and maintain contract performance metrics. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining computer databases. The Logistics Analyst will frequently perform data input, analyze requirements, perform quality control on database content, and review inputs for adequacy. The Logistics Analyst will staff the Quarterly Program Technical and Contract Review (PTCR) meetings, track the status of product deliverables, and participate in Navy Program planning meetings. The Logistics Analyst will also be required to produce reports in a timely manner as requested by management or the customer. The Logistics Analyst will be expected to maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) credentials for access into NAVSEA controlled spaces.
Relocation to the Washington, D.C. area is required.
This position requires a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
