The Job

As System Engineer at GeekPlus, you’ll be the primary point of contact with our partners and clients who range from Startups to Fortune 500 players. You’ll interact regularly to maintain a strong communication with the clients and understand well their needs. You’ll team with an Applications and Robotic Engineers to understand all the details of the system configuration and site dynamics. You’ll work with internal and external resources to coordinate all aspects of a Robotic Systems deployment at a customer site. Responsibilities:

• Implement system solution for clients on Linux server and manage database with SQL commands.
• Conduct API testing and functional testing sessions with clients to integrate Geekplus system with Client’s system.
• Communicate with client about customer system requirements, and translate the customer requirements to new system functions for the product team.
• Participate in system design session with Project Manager and System consultant and understand the system solution
• Report system bugs during implementation with developers and product team.
• Prepare system environment for SIT, UAT and assist Deployment Team and Project Managers for project go-live
• Train the client’s operation team
• Develop strong customer relationship
• Prepare for weekly system implementation progress report for project team and customer’s record
• Close the system implementation upon the closing check list

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System, Industrial Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
• Database experience with SQL and Linux is highly preferred.
• WMS/WES/MES working experience is a plus.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.
• Online collaboration tools proficiency is required.
• MS office suite proficiency is required.
• Ability to facilitate and drive cross-department collaboration and communication.
• Willingness to travel (Estimate 20%)
• Eager to learn and has attention to details.
