Geek is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our North America region. Reporting to GM of Smart Moving and Forklift Overseas Solutions this role will be part of the Smart Moving & Forklift Product Division responsible for developing partners and supporting Key Accounts in the deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robots within Manufacturing and Internal Logistics scenarios. The role will be working closely with the US Sales, Project Delivery, and Operations teams.

Job Description

• Establish regional sales strategies for our AMR Products.
• Set up a sales channel network and develop strategic partners.
• Take the lead on large and strategic accounts, managing the customer relationship, and commercial aspects of the projects and working closely with our Product Management team and Solutions team on the Technical aspects.
• Work closely with partners on pipeline management, KPI's and business planning.
• Define sales partner development milestones and initiate/push forward the Proof of Concepts and Initial Projects for new partners.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations as well as training to key customers and partners.
• Drive partner sales/team to sell AMR products to ensure alignment with the company sales target.
• Review, and prepare contracts and bids in line with sales procedures.
• Work with the Product Manager to develop a sales plan focused on key growth opportunities.
• Actively prepare and participate in business reviews/forecasts.
• Maintain an awareness of competitor activities and developments and summarize to the sales team and headquarter.
• Extensive travel will be required.

Qualifications / Requirements

• 8 years experience in sales, 5 years experience in Channel Management or Business Development in AMR / AGV / Industrial Robotics / Manufacturing Automation Equipment industry.
• Experience with Project Sales of Capital Equipment to Automotive End Customers will be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Marketing or equivalent (Masters or Higher preferred)
• Self-contributor, able to develop a network of sales partners. (existing knowledge of relevant System Integrators, Distribution Channels, and other potential partners would be advantageous)
• A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and a desire to grow new business.
• Strong business acumen, leadership & Strategic mindset.
• Excellent Communicator with a natural ability to win the trust of customers and able to distill complicated concepts into easy-to-understand value propositions.
• Digital Native, experience with productivity tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and a strong ability to quickly learn the use of new software tools.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Able to take charge when needed and rally internal and external stakeholders to get the job done.
