Geek Powered Studios is Hiring a Remote Web Designer
Geek Powered Studios is an Austin-based, full service digital marketing agency, and we are looking for a Web Designer. We design, build, and service in-house, so you will work on projects ranging from site builds and landing pages to banner advertisements to newsletters. You'll need to be strong in your design skills and comfortable with development and graphic design. Our ideal candidate has strong Webflow and Wordpress experience and is also familiar with E-Comm and Shopify. We work as a team on most projects, so it's important to be great at working with others, but you should also have the ability to work independently and on deadlines.
Starting salary for this role is 60-75K DOE

What will make you a good fit
To be considered for this position, first and foremost you must be innovative. We're looking for a problem solver. Beyond that, we are looking for the following:
- Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication
- Portfolio with at least 4 relevant projects
- A minimum of two years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Webflow, Wordpress and UI/UX experience required
- Graphic design experience is a
- An intermediate or advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- A working knowledge of CRO best practices
- A strong grasp on typography and page layout
- Must be able to work on deadlines and communicate with multiple stakeholders from our internal teams to our clients
- Must understand modern design concepts and standards and enjoy researching the next trends in both
- Agency experience preferred
- Video production a plus
- Shopify experience is a bigger plus
- Ability to successfully work remotely
- Proof of ability to work in the US as a W2 employee without sponsorship - must be physically located within the US
