GATR Truck Center is seeking to hire a full-time Body Shop Technician in our WAUKEE IA location to perform Heavy/Medium/Light Equipment body work. PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• Responsible for performing work with efficiency and accuracy resulting in quality repairs for customers
• Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Disassembles and reassembles fabricated truck and trailer parts
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Participates in manufacturer and dealership sponsored training programs, schools, and events
• Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
• Consistently reliable and dependable and adheres to specified work schedule

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Driving Record Insurable through Company Carrier
• CDL certification preferred
• 1-3 Years Experience Preferred
