ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Operations
- Participate as member of the clinical team under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services
- Participate in the development of Personalized Recovery Plans
- Coordinate with the other members of the clinical treatment team including Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Social Worker/Mental Health Counselors and professional staff
- Coordinate and organize clinical treatment schedule as needed
- Work closely with the program psychiatrist under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services
- Facilitate classes on wellness self-management, health maintenance and basic living skills
- Provide first aid and nursing care to program participants; make referrals for treatment, as appropriate
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation on all individuals in accordance with agency regulations
- Serve as a member of the agency Health and Safety Committee
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in NYS
Experience:
- One year experience required (mental health experience preferred)
- Valid NYS driver’s license, must maintain a driving record that meets the insurable criteria of the Agency’s automobile insurance carrier
- Must have a favorable result from the federal/state exclusions background check as well as a background check facilitated through fingerprinting and mandated by NYS law Chapter 575.

- Must be able to sit or stand for 8 hours/day
- Must be able to bend down or kneel occasionally (1-2 times/week)
- Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers with full range of motion
REGULATORY CLEARANCES REQUIRED:
- Must have a favorable result from all state, federal, and agency mandated background checks
- New York State Justice Center Fingerprinting Criminal Background Check
- OWPDD MHL Abuse/Neglect History Check
- Statewide Central Registry Check
