Gastro Health is currently looking for an enthusiastic full-time Front Desk Clerk to join our team!

Our Front Desk Clerks interact with patients daily, and they provide valuable administrative assistance to the physicians and care center providers. Our Gastro Health family can go home at the end of the day knowing they made a positive difference in our patients’ lives.

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:

  • Provide support for the physician and/or care center providers so that they are kept on schedule and advised of appointment changes.
  • Perform various duties including answering incoming calls and routing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Schedule, confirm and cancel office appointments as patients call in
  • Coordinate all aspects of hospital consults, reschedules, and maintain coverage to reflect correct information for the day.
  • Support Care Coordinators, in areas to include phone calls with patients, record requests, and closing daily orders.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 years experience in a medical setting preferred
  • Medical terminology knowledge required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
