Chief Operating Officer

This key role is a direct report to the Chief Executive Officer of Gas It Up. The position is responsible for proactively driving all Sales, Marketing, and Operations related activities for the Company, with a complete understanding of the financial impacts of all decisions. It is expected this role plays a direct and influential role in setting the company’s key strategic imperatives, including understand a broad set of market and customer drivers, aligning resources and priorities against those strategic imperatives, and insuring metrics and reporting, especially financial, are in place and utilized organization wide.

The role is also expected to proactively own key external relationships as required, including customers, investors, and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with the CEO and Executive team, ensure the company has a clear set of strategic priorities in place both in their areas of functional responsibility but also aligned more broadly
• Ensure the talent level in owned functional areas is world class, measured, motivated, and consistently “raising the bar” across the organization
• Play a leadership role in leading key customer, partner, and investor

relationships

• Be an internal champion of the company’s core values by demonstrating them in every action and decision
• Proactively seek out ways to drive Innovation, consistently managing against current responsibilities while taking thought leadership in this area, such as driving the impact on Sustainability our value proposition offers
• Seek out ways to manage risk and business continuity to ensure the company consistency delivers against our commits to customers, partners, and investors
• Assume and lead those other key responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the CEO
• Work with a sense of active collaboration with other members of the leadership team and the balance of the organization to support a positive culture
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the Executive Team to foster a spirit of Innovation and Collaboration

Key Skills and Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years leading multiple functional areas especially in sales and operations, as well as leading and having P&L ownership for meaningful operating divisions or company’s
• A demonstrated track record of driving growth in the above
• Deep experience in dealing directly with partner relationships, direct customer responsibility, and dealing with investors and capital raises
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating the setting of strategic goals and objectives, using a Balanced Scorecard or similar methodology
• Expertise in financial analysis and management
• Excellent verbal communication skills and presence
• An intense focus on culture development and “intense collaboration”
• Strong collaborations skills and a track record of substantially and positively impacting the culture of an organization
• Desire to maximize personal and organization success and outward enthusiasm toward sharing success across and between functions and individuals- putting the greater benefit of an organization first ahead of short-term personal success
• A bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement, a master degree is preferred
