Position Summary

The Data Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining accurate item data set up within Gartner Studios and our customer’s operational systems. The position will require a specialized knowledge across both systems to ensure proper internal item set up, ecommerce and customer set up. The position will also be responsible for order processing, maintenance and tracking.

Position Responsibilities 

Responsible For:

1. Set up and maintain items in multiple facets of internal company database called Dplus.
2. Set up and maintain customer information in Dplus.
3. Assist in item set up process for customers via customer portals or worksheets.
4. Enter and update customer orders in Dplus.
5. Access information for orders from customer order portals.
6. Track customer orders and research shipping progression.
7. Order price stickers and specialty labels.

Secondary job accountabilities:

Requirements

Minimum Education: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – preferred but not required.

Minimum Experience: 

• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Access experience a plus but not required.
• Strong Computer aptitude and ability to learn multiple systems.

Other Requirements:

• Job requires working on a personal computer up to eight hours a day
• Job requires communicating via telephone/Teams up to eight hours a day
• Non-exempt position (40 hours per week)
