Capital City Gardens is now seeking a full-time Food Service Director. The Food Service Director will implement and maintain effective, efficient systems to operate the dietary department and provide food service to residents in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
Qualifications (including but not limited to):
- Considerable knowledge of large-scale food preparation and cooking methods
- Knowledge of sanitation, safety regulations and practices
- Skill in quality food preparation
- Ability to modify a recipe to meet the needs of restricted diets or numbers to be served
- Ability to supervise and train others engaged in food preparation activities
- Experience with special diets and preparing them
