Position: Garage Door Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Repair:

• Install new garage doors and garage door openers.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
• Replace worn or damaged parts such as springs, cables, rollers, and sensors.

Maintenance:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure smooth operation.
• Lubricate moving parts and clean tracks to ensure the door operates smoothly.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met.
• Educate customers on garage door safety and maintenance.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide estimates for repairs and replacements, ensuring transparency with customers.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards during installation and repair.
• Ensure that all installations meet local building codes.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Garage Door Technician or in a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
