Ganse Apothecary Inc., a local independent pharmacy, is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts. 

This part-time position offers a unique and flexible schedule consisting of 40 hours/week during the first week of the month, followed by approximately 10 – 20 hours per week for the rest of the month.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
• Review and reconcile wholesale invoices and provide to the accountant for processing and payment.
• Maintain consumer accounts ensuring that new accounts are set-up and maintained, including posting charges and payments to consumer accounts and tracking delinquent accounts.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounts Receivable
• Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft office and Quickbooks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to do cash operations and banking
