Overview

GaN Corporation is now accepting resumes for a technical writer to support GaN headquarters and a variety of technical development programs. This position will provide high-quality documentation of complex technical information in support of technical contract deliverables, GaN proposals, user manuals, and product information. Additionally, this position will be an integral part of the GaN publications team responsible for internal and external documentation, proposals, social media, and website publications.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical drafts of reports, manuals, and documents.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or any other customer deliverables and documents.
• Coordinate with and provide input to graphics department.
• Maintain configuration control over all documents, handbooks, manuals, etc.
• Work with internal teams to develop product and documentation requirements.
• Edit travel and weekly reports; harvest information for future use as corporate experience.
• Assist in writing technical and non-technical SOPs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Active SECRET Clearance
• Four plus years’ technical writing experience.
• Ability to research and author technical risk acceptance packages.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science in applicable field.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with PowerBI and Information System Developments

 Special Requirements: 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess Security Clearance specified below.

 Security Type Needed:

• Secret.
