Job Description

The Customer Service Representative / Clerical position will involve answering multiple phone lines, receive and process insurance documentation for existing customers, draft letters & reports, provide customer service to insurance agency customers, take payments and issue receipts and other additional clerical duties as directed by the agent or supervising associates.

Responsibilities

• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Direct all calls to the appropriate department.
• File all documents in electronic data files.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
• Thoroughly understand and follow up on all clerical duties.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a P&C Insurance Agency a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Adobe and Power Point.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Desire to grow with the business.
• Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is a must.
