Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Lead the development and testing of system components/services, code and design reviews.
Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Help translate product requirements
into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production
environment. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team. Generate
ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Communicate with project leads, product managers and
other software developers. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Technical Field, or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field of
software engineering/program analysis or four (4) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Legacy C; (3) PHP; (4) Kubernetes; (5) AWS technologies
include EKS, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, Dynamo; (6) Unit Testing; (7) Relational Databases; and (8) ORMs
Experience working on a SOA or microservice-based application. Any suitable combination of education,
training and/or experience is acceptable. Special skills can be gained through academic coursework,
scholastic achievement, or professional experience. Telecommuting is an option.
