POSITION TITLE: Solutions Consultant
TEAM: Business Development
REPORTS TO: Business Development Operations Manager
FLSA Classification: Salary, Exempt
OBJECTIVE
As a Solutions Consultant, you are responsible for selling Gable products, services, and solutions to new and existing clients while working with clients at all levels. You are expected to generate leads and develop selling opportunities in their market segment as defined by upper management while meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets. You will actively participate in Gable sales planning and forecasting meetings and conferences. You will provide input on future and projected sales initiatives. You are expected to represent Gable to external clients and customers and maintain a high level of customer service among external and internal clients.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
· Basic understanding and demonstration of Sales Methodologies and Practices.
· The ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.
· Maintain open line of communication with clients concerning their existing projects while exploring additional opportunities with the client.
· Ability to make presentations.
· Ability to qualify projects and understand the details of projects.
· With assistance, the ability to prepare proposals including scope, exclusions, price, terms, etc…
· Ability to work with all teams/sub-teams to ensure understanding of client expectations and project scope details.
· Ability to close sales and maintain a sales level up to $2,000,000.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Report to work as required and for management, sales and production meetings, as required.
· Use all proper forms and requests required for the necessary implementation of orders, service, and sketch requests, expense statements, and any other forms designed for inter-company use.
· Make daily contact with the Sales Manager for sales call distribution or to address specific issues.
· Should maintain a reasonable expense level and cooperate with the Finance team in maintaining complete and accurate records for all sales-related expenses.
· Except on rare occasions with valid reason, other than approved, expenses that are not approved in advance WILL NOT be reimbursed.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Five (5) years of minimum B2B related sales experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing or equivalent.

While performing the duties of this job are exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the environment is moderate. Occasionally, job site noise will be very loud and protective ear covers may be needed. Periodic exposure to factory environment and condition such as fumes, dust, and mist.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
All prospective team members must pass a criminal background check and drug test. Candidates must also meet the requirements for an I-9, e-Verify. Occasional overnight, nationwide travel as required.
