WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN HR GENERALIST : Partner with Managers in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues Partner with Communications Specialist to ensure New Employee Orientation materials and the HR section of the intranet are current Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs Maintain knowledge of current federal and state HR law, specifically in Utah Assist / conduct New Employee Orientation and Benefits presentations Assist with the administration of benefit programs such as medical, dental, life, disability, 401(k), and employee assistance, including annual open enrollment Annual EE01 reports Unemployment claims liaison FMLA, ADA, Workers Comp, LOA liaison Assist the Employee Experience Director in any and all duties, as requested Partner with IT to help new hires on first day logins Position reports to the Employee Experience Director and is part of the Employee Experience Team WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: PHR certification required 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required Experience administering FMLA and other leaves of absence programs required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Experience with Workday preferred Experience with resolution and investigation of employee issues Strong knowledge of employment law compliance including ADA Ability to understand business goals and recommend innovative HR solutions and process improvements Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to create and conduct presentations
