What makes someone choose one company over another? Pay, Benefits, Training, Work Satisfaction, Culture? What if you can have it all! At G2 Ops we have extremely competitive pay and benefits and that is not even the best part. Our culture is what sets us apart from other companies. Here, you will not be another payroll number or a cog in the machine. We provide great value to our customers by working as a team and ensuring every member is set up for success. Our team approach allows for each member to not only provide value with their expertise but also gives them the opportunity to cross-train in other areas they have interest in.
Let's talk salary. The salary range for this position based on what we are asking you to do in the role starts at $110,000 and goes up to $150,000, based on qualifications. We'd like to start somewhere in that ballpark and go from there. With company standard annual performance reviews in place, plus on the spot awards for recognition; your performance will be rewarded and recognized, we promise!
So, you want to work from home? Let's be honest, remote work is not always all it's cut out to be. At G2 Ops, we offer a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our employees and customers. Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure. You will have your own shiny desk at our G2 Ops office, plus the occasional opportunity to work on-site directly with our customers (this is a good thing!). We do allow teleworking with prior IT Department and manager approval. Here's the thing, we have worked very hard to create an awesome culture where our employees get to come to a collaborative, exciting office environment and we want you to join the fun!
Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, Mid-level and Senior-level Program Manager who works on just about any aspect there is as it pertains to customer program deliverable accountability. This includes cost, schedule, and performance requirements defined in project and contract correspondence. Additionally, the Program Manager will implement G2 Ops business processes associated with finance/accounting, human resources, workload management, cross-project collaboration, and project reporting.
There are various vendors, customers, and engineers, who need to be managed in a centralized manner. Being able to interpret and articulate requirements, schedule and adhere to milestones, as well as track procurements and program funding will be necessary in being successful. This position will also be responsible for anticipating/managing contract actions, maintaining compliance with contract deliverables, and identifying pre-execution project risk and plans to mitigate.
What does this mean to you? We are seeking expertise in program management with experience in large and complex projects with numerous stakeholders to report to. While you will not have to be extremely technical, being able to converse with customers and relay that information to the engineering technical team is a must. Have the ability to take a wholistic look at the program and identify current or potential risks to communicate with the team as well as the customer. Experience with contracting and understand scoping whether something is currently in scope or needed to be added to accomplish the mission. Finally, when you have it all working like a well-oiled machine, take another look for potential efficiencies that may be had whether it is with a refined process or a new technology.
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, or higher, to be considered, and our ideal candidates will have a PMP or DAWIA Level III PM certification.
Quick Note: We are seeking full-time employees; the continuation of outside employment shall not constitute a conflict with the Company’s interest, including performing work for a customer or competitor.
Congratulations, you made it all the way to the end of this job posting! We look forward to learning more about you!
