Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid role 60% in the office)

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic marketer with strong written and graphic design sensibilities. This candidate will report to the VP, Head of Marketing, and support the execution of go-to-market strategies across G2's industry and product areas, corporate brand development, event organization, and more. Successful candidates will be natural collaborators, eager to lend a hand or an idea on a variety of initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Learn and understand G2’s backlog of work, industry areas, and service capabilities.
• Develop bespoke, compelling content as needed to support business development activities and external communications. (e.g., supporting visual graphics, social media copy, blog posts, ad copy, email copy)
• Research and analyze client and competitor behavior (e.g., trends and preferences) for leadership review.
• Maintain G2's website as well as track and deliver a bi-weekly summary of web visitors and general activity.
• Maintain marketing and communications templates and collateral files as well as key corporate statistics and information systems.
• Update and maintain the Salesforce database of segmented distribution lists.
• Maintain marketing swag inventory and firm business card/notecard orders appropriately.
• Track and save all compliance and regulatory approval communications for any externally distributed content.
• Work closely with industry and product team members to support marketing projects (i.e., quarterly newsletters, white papers, and articles)
• Provide hands-on support as needed for local and national conferences, events, and fundraisers.

What We Look For

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a marketing position; experience in financial services a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Graphic Design, or similar
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative and impactful graphic design skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator & InDesign is a must (knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HubSpot, Canva, and Salesforce are a plus)
• Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator
• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
• Able to move at a fast pace without compromising the quality of work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
