G&Z TRANSPORT LLC is Hiring a Fleet Coordinator Near Brighton, CO

Description

Job Purpose: 

To support the fleet activities of all assets. Will report to Fleet Manager to assist in controlling inventory levels and maintain necessary registrations and licenses.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a contact for dispatch questions and issues with current equipment.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance per the current vehicle maintenance policy.
  • Create, build, and maintain inventory levels within software platform.
  • Coordinate new equipment logo’s and new equipment to be properly brought into all required systems.
  • Send out daily summaries of the work performed to the logistics team to communicate various issues with equipment, concerns with fleet, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain equipment lists.
  • Understand warranty programs and coordinate invoices / repair orders to aligns with any work completed pertaining to the warranty.
  • Participate in initiatives and strategies in reducing costs and creating efficiencies regarding the equipment and processes to track.
  • Other job duties may be assigned depending on customer needs/changes in projects.
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors
  • Work with vendors and other fleet employees to maintain competitive pricing.
  • Participate in company sponsored volunteer programs.
  • Travel locally and make site visits for inventory and equipment tracking purposes.

Requirements

  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Knowledge of, and ability to use, current and developing technologies including telephones, mobile devices, and computers.
  • Continue to develop knowledge and expertise by seeking assistance from peers, other team members, books industry seminars, and courses. 
  • Conduct self and promote others in accordance with the company’s standards and expectations. 
  • Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities. 
  • Ensure open and effective communication, actively promoting a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • May be trained and required to operate the yard forklift to assist in the logistics of the equipment in the yard.
  • Must be able to multi-task throughout the workday.
  • May be sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Valid Drivers License with Clean MVR 

Qualifications: 

Good communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions verbally and/or in writing from management, employees, clients, contractors, and others. Effective listening skills.

Work Environment

Primarily in an office environment, with a requirement of walking the yard and potentially operating a forklift. Will be expected to participate in company volunteer programs that may or may not be held outdoors.
