A Parts Warehouse Associate with G&W Equipment is responsible for maintaining the parts warehouse and working with customers in our Charlotte, NC branch.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Shipping & Receiving all inbound and outbound freight.
• Verifying, receiving, updating, and distributing inventory and job-related parts.
• Parts on service jobs – review and input all open service jobs to ensure parts are on jobs correctly, all items are billed and verify freight charges.
• Parts locating – run parts on hand with no bin reports and ensure that no parts are on hand without proper locations. Move inventory and relocate as needed.
• Van Restock – responsible for generating updated van stocking quantities and restocking vans. Minimum of 50% of all vans weekly.
• Van Inventories - schedule, inform, and prep technicians, perform annual van inventories on all vans assigned to the branch.
• Weekly Cycle Counts - counting a minimum number of SKUs and/or locations as dictated by accounting and parts management.
• Annual, routine, and warranty returns – as per company policies process and ship any returns. Monitor invoices and credits to ensure payments are received from the appropriate vendors.
• Warehouse cleanliness – maintain clean and neat warehouse spaces.
• Process all applicable paperwork.

Requirements/Qualifications:

•  High School Diploma
• Warehouse experience, parts research skills within a database.
• Proven mechanical aptitude skills with the ability to understand parts components and placement.
• Proficient computer skills and experience in MS Word Applications, and Internet Savvy.
• Worked with a company proprietary software package entering data.
• Possess a clean driving record and criminal background check.
