Quality Manager - GSP Coatings 

The Quality Manager is the management representative of the Quality Management System of GSP Coatings. They are responsible for overseeing the quality control requirements of the facility under the direction of the Operations Manager. The Quality Manager interfaces with Engineering, Operations, and Supervisors to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or quality system and ensures the Quality Management system conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day to day quality control function of the facility.
• Facilitate internal, external and customer audits. Generate remediation plans and responses for audits and submit for approval.
• Facilitate internal and external audits. Generate remediation plans and responses for audits and submit for approval.
• Perform internal spot audits at regular intervals.
• Lead all internal quality investigations.
• Generate and revise all quality related documents. Quality Manual, Policy, Instructions, and forms.
• Responsible for investigating and closing out non-conformances within the quality system.
• Maintain metrics and provide ongoing reports for Management Team.
• Maintain document control and management system.
• Review of required customer paperwork prior to shipment.

Skills:

• Ability to use various measurement and inspection devices.
• Ability to interpret customer blueprints and specifications.
• Able to fill out company inspection and production documents.
• Basic Math Skills

Job Specifications:

• High school diploma or GED Preferred
• SPC experience
• 5 years of Quality experience
• Computer skills, manufacturing software, MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail, strong follow up
• Sense of urgency, initiative
