Job Description:
G-Sida General Services is currently seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team. Based in Washington, D.C. This position primarily involves servicing secure government facilities during after-hours shifts, typically after 6 PM on weekdays and daytime on weekends. The Floor Care Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floors within these facilities, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques. Key responsibilities include thorough cleaning, polishing, and maintaining floors to high standards of hygiene and safety. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in floor care maintenance, including knowledge of different flooring materials and cleaning methods. Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality service delivery are essential. Join us in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of government facilities during non-business hours.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Floor Care Experience is Required
• Custodial Worker Experience is Required
• Must be able to pass security clearance and drug testing for designated contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure Compliance with OSHA Standards and Safety Regulations
• Adhere to Security Protocols and Procedures for Government Facilities
• Maintain Confidentiality and Security of Sensitive Information
• Participate in Training Sessions and Workshops as Required
• Assist with Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, as well as push and pull 50 pounds, for cleaning work areas and handling supplies and equipment.
• Capability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle, essential for tasks involving the use of ladders, stairs, cleaning low and high areas, benches, and corners.
• Proficiency in communication with supervisors and co-workers.
• Good vision, depth perception, and color perception for safety reasons and to distinguish between chemicals.
