Responsibilities

• Conducts inspection and test of product (simple to complex cable harnesses, ruggedized computer equipment, displays, servers, gaskets) throughout production; including receiving, in process, final, first article (FAI), and shipping inspections
• Documents results of product conformance inspections and testsØ Manages the tool calibration system
• Implements quality and customer service requirements
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves problems
• Participates in the performance and implementation of corrective action and continuous improvement of processes
• Collects data, analyzes, and reports on failures, scrap, non-conforming product, and other quality objectives as assigned

Qualifications

•  Experience in electromechanical assembly
•  Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications
•  Able to use measuring instruments including calipers; multimeters; micrometers; height, depth, and plug gauges
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Understands and executes process improvement methods
•  Self-motivated, team oriented individual with keen attention to detail
