Work as part of an engineering team to design and implement innovative, efficient solutions which best combine the commercial and technical aspects. Work with Designers and Engineers to oversee, review, and stamp drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Reading structural and architectural drawings
• Create drawings showing safe & efficient use of equipment for customers to use throughout the construction process
• Create accurate material counts of equipment for each project
• Provide technical support to sales staff
• Provide technical field support to customers as required
• Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal)
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles
• Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
• Mobility on construction sites (For example – Climbing ladders, access scaffolding, being aware of overhead dangers, trip hazards, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects at the same time
• Be a supportive and collaborative member of the Engineering Team
• Ability to work to deadlines and be self-motivated
• To provide guidance/reviewing/checking in calculations and applications to others where required
• To have an input to new product design by submitting ideas for new products
• Set an example to other members of the staff in the level of professionalism and performance expected within the organization

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Certifications: PE Required
• Valid driver’s license to access construction sites as required
• Experience : 4 years
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications, Auto-CAD. (Revit, Tekla, or RISA a plus)
