G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Sr. MRI Technologist to join its team in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Provide MRI imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated MRI Technologist like you to be a part of our team.

• As an MRI Technologist, you will operate standard, and specialized MRI equipment to perform routine MRI examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• You will prepare patients for MRI procedures and perform MRI following established procedures for patient care and safety
• You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, and patient data/history)
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment
• You will follow MRI safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• One year experience as a MRI Technologist
• Graduate of an educational program in Radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) OR graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology OR a military training program of equivalent standards
• Associates Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology - preferred Licenses and Certifications
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, (RT) MR

WORK SCHEDULE

• Friday 8am - 8pm Rollingwood (Bee Caves Rd.)
• Saturday 8am-8pm Cedar Park (Discovery Blvd.)
• Sunday 8am-8pm Austin (James Casey St.)
