G&A Partners is Hiring a Benefits Coordinator Near San Antonio, TX

A growing, Houston-based professional services firm, G&A Partners is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join its team at the office located in San Antonio, TX. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

  • Support management of current client base and new business and renewal activities
  • Assist Account Manager and Sales team in the development, marketing, implementation, administration and communication of benefit plans.
  • Obtain, compare, and analyze quotes
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for employee meetings for open enrollment.
  • Review contracts, prepare documents, and maintain client files in CRM with complete and accurate data.
  • Assist with documentation for client benefit websites
  • Attend carrier and vendor seminars to continually be informed of industry changes and developments
  • Handle all benefit related client service and administration issues (i.e. billing, eligibility, claims, etc.)
  • Act as a liaison between client and vendors
  • Ensure that renewal checklists and requirements are completed for each client
  • Prepare and submit sold employee applications
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Experience & Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma, some college is preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related role Benefits and medical insurance knowledge
  • Detail oriented and highly organized,
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must
  • Life and Health License a plus
