G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Accountant to join its team in Hopkinsville, KY.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, general ledger and reporting systems ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; including directing the activities concerned with safekeeping, control, and accounting for all the organization’s assets (both corporate and fiduciary assets).
• Conduct tasks for accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.
• Assist with month-end close is completed in an accurate and timely manner for both fiduciary and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate corporate and fiduciary 1099 process and filings.
• Manage fixed assets to ensure compliance with capitalization policy.
• Collaborate with, advise, and be a part of the management team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting, business administration or finance experience preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing businesses is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong technical accounting background and skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft BC365/Navision, and various accounting software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the proven ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to document, analyze, and improve processes.
