G&A Partners is Hiring an Account Executive (Technology Sales) Near Houston, TX

Overview

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking an Account Executive to join its team with filly remote capabilities anywhere on the East Coast.

The Account Executive will focus on capturing new accounts and growing existing accounts in Consumer Electronics and adjacent markets (Digital Healthcare, Automotive, IoT, Cloud Services, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to capture new business
  • Identify, establish relationships with, and manage key contacts within their accounts
  • The AE should understand the business of their customers and be able to advise the customer on business development
  • Lead collaboration between various teams within Softeq and the customer
  • Maintain a sustainable portfolio
  • Responsible for achieving quarterly quotas
  • Self-generates leads by contacting prospective clients
  • Manage and coordinate account-based marketing activities
  • Develop new opportunities in new and existing accounts
  • Develop account plans for anchor accounts (existing accounts, new strategic accounts)
  • Monitor and manage account P&L
  • Represent Softeq in meetings, calls, and at conferences
  • Qualify new requests
  • Develop a path to win for qualified leads
  • Manage the RFX processes and pursuit teams
  • Lead efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Conducts sales needs analysis with new and prospective customers
  • Lead the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams at different stages of the sales process
  • Provide monthly and quarterly sales reports and forecasts

Qualifications

  • Great Communication Skills
  • Experience in consultative sales
  • Experience selling computer and consumer electronics technology and services
  • Five years’ experience in sales of services or technical sales/presales
  • Five years’ experience in account management (service selling) or presales
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet prospects/customer face to face
  • Good understanding of main principles of product development lifecycle (Hardware and Software)
  • A network in the region to potential customers
  • Team player, team leader
  • Familiarity with CRMs and sales reporting tools

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of or experience in software development
  • Knowledge of or experience in hardware development and manufacturing
  • Previous experience working with IoT solutions
  • Previous experience working with IoT and Cloud providers
  • Technical Education (e.g., computer science, engineering)
  • Knowledge of product development / management processes
  • Domain experience in consumer electronics, mobility, automotive, energy, digital healthcare, smart manufacturing or any other of our strategic business verticals
  • Good understanding of the latest trends and developments in the industry
  • Having worked with Delivery Managers and/or Project Managers on large complex programs/projects
  • Business consulting experience
