The Security Systems Specialist will be responsible for taking the lead role on the assessment of cyber systems as it relates to assigned projects. This position will analyze, define, develop and implement solutions that meet the security requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Analyzes and defines security requirements for issues
• Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions to meet security requirements
• Responsible for the implementation and development of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Utilizes the Air Force approved accreditation tool, eMASS, to maintain all C&A requirements for the AFOS system
• Conducts annual testing and support annual the FISMA assessment
• Gathers and organizes technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in issues
• Performs risk analyses that also include risk assessment
• Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or another related discipline
Licenses & Certifications:
• Secret Security Clearance
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications
Experience:
• Minimum of ten plus (10 ) years of experience, in which at least eight (8) years are specialized in defining computer security requirements for high-level applications, evaluating approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to multilevel security (MLS) problems
