This position will oversee all migration, development, and programming for cloud-based solutions for the client. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:· Multi-application architectural design of the system· Design and deploy dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant and reliable applications to the cloud· Migrating complex, multi-tiered systems to the cloud· Designing and developing Cloud based services (Micro-services, etc.) and Application Programming Interfaces (API) for cloud service orchestration.· Designing and developing Cloud workflow-based services.· Selecting appropriate cloud services for specific system requirements· Developing and implementing cloud cost optimization strategies· Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assignedRequirements & Qualifications:Education:· Bachelor’s degree in a related field requiredLicenses & Certifications:· AWS Certified Solutions Architect professional level certification or AWS Certified Solutions Architect associate level certification Experience:· Required minimum of five (5) years of relevant hand-on experience as a cloud-based Solutions Architect for systems of similar size and scope· Prior hands-on experience working in an agile development environment· Prior federal government experience is a plusSkills & Abilities:· Excellent oral and written communication skills (must speak fluent English)· Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals· Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks· Must have the ability to interact with senior leaders within the organization· Use of Microsoft Office software applications to include Word, Excel, and PowerPointThis opportunity offers career development and growth, competitive compensation, and a robust benefits package with 4 Weeks PTO w/ rollover, 11 paid holidays, company paid events and training, and 401(k) retirement plan with company match. FWG holds multiple government contracting vehicles as a Prime Contractor to include: 8(a) Set-Aside; STARS III; GSA IT-70; Army ITES-3S; and CIO-SP3. FWG Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
